Hi I'm Adam I'm from the east midlands and my local trail is cannock chase which i spend a lot of time there i started riding in 2010 when i got my first bike which was a specialised hardrock wasn't a bad bike but i kept breaking bits on it.in 2011 i got a specialised camber comp which was the most iv ever spent on a bike.like on most bikes things wear out etc so a lot of upgrades have gone in to it.
This is a pic of what it looks like now
In 2012 I got rid of the hardrock which I used as a work bike and any other riding I did and I got a cube ltd SL 29er
Thanks for looking

Hello,
Welcome to the site.
Nice bikes. Couple of questions for you.
1) Whats the weight of your Specialized and what upgrades have you made. I'm especially interested in the wheels.
2) What are your thoughts on the Cube 29'er. I have the 26" version and i'm going to be building a 29" full suss carbon bike for xc/trail. I'm not 100% sold on the 29'er though, what are your thoughts?
Cheers!0 -

As for the 29er I think they are great bikes for roads and small trails iv taken mine to Cannock a few times and it suffers on switch backs.but coming down hills and going up hills can't fault it.i do road riding twice a week we do 25 miles at a time and the lads who ride with me are buying 29ers.im not 100% what the full sus are like not used one yet0
