Hi, got a pair on rubber queens and have heard that on the front it is supposed to be fitted the opposite way round, is it true or am i being wound up?

Look on the sidewall of the tyre, it tells you which direction for front or rear use0

Yes the RQ are opposite ways around on the front and rear. The rear is on backwards for traction compared to the front which is on forwards for steering. I always personally put both tyres with the tread 'pointing' forwards for speed, regardless of what the sidewall says.0

'snot a wind up. I have just bought a pair of RQ 2.2s and asked exactly the same question. The side wall of the tyre has an arrow point forward (that says front) demonstrating the direction of rotation. Conversely there is another arrow point in the opposite direction (that says rear).
