Fill your boots.
I'd get some wheels first though0 -
Yeah defo, I actually need a rear wheel that takes a disc anyhow haha Ive made my choice for that already. Just looking at brakes now.0

Aluminium discs are for racing only, they have a very short life especially in muddy conditions (That'll be the UK then), for lightweight get Alligator as they'll last.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

The rotors he linked to had alloy spiders and floating steel rotors, as pretty much every anodised rotor does...0

I know pretty much nothing about discs, so will they be worth the money??0

you wont really see the benefits of them over solid fella, you'd be better off getting your self a pair of normal rotors and painting the middles to suit what ever colour you wanted!
not so popular on our shores but the americans have been doing it a while, rustoleum is the most commonly used paint, mask up ALL of the rotor surface and then paint the middle,Timmo.

Ahh, i guess i could spray them, but id have to settle for the non anodized look though. And ill probably end up spending 7-8 quid on a can of paint. So i may aswell spend the extra 10-15 quid to get these rotors instead of getting standard ones and getting the paint. Ill give it a think.

Spend your money on parts that work well for the money, not look flash.0

^^ this, don't waste your money. If you must waste it then Superstar do two-piece rotors for not too much money.0

Alright, thanks guys. I'll have a look at those superstar rotors. Thanks0
