We have hired a coach and trailer (covered, secure etc) to go from Calais to Tours (Villandry) on Monday 10 June 2013

5 or 6 spaces are available for just £35 each (drop off en route is possible - Chartres etc) - coach is going on to Loches.

We're touring in the Loire for 10 days and then riding home - this post is just for the bike transport

PM if interested.

Rob

We'll be passing through a week before you - en route from Cherbourg to Nice.
Day 3 will see us going through Angers and staying in Saumur, http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/Course. ... rse=120175
    then heading South-East to Chinon on day 4... http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com/Course. ... rse=473398
Looking forward to the days in/around the Loire, went there (sans velo) some 20 or so years back with SWMBO :)
    Lads trip, this time tho'...

I know, but I'm going with our little gang who aren't cyclists... Thirty miles a day will be a heck of a lot for them. We did the Nantes Brest canal last year from roscoff to nantes in 5 days...But i seriously over estimated what they could do so it became a bit of a route march. I have several projects in mind and finistere is on my list! What I find remarkable is that want to do it again...
