i never use "proper"lube.....i just spray TF2 on the chain and wipe the excess, i find it doesnt go black and gunky and end up like grinding paste like lube and is alot cleaner

Getting good results with Fenwicks Extreme Mountain bike lube. Chain needs to be degreased before you use it first time but once its on it stays on. Last winter was getting regular chain suck in the local gritty sticky Pennine crud but this year I can honestly say the chain has only sucked up twice and both times it was not a chain it was a loop of mud which barely turned.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0

what grease do you guys use and what do you use it for? I only lube the chain and a wee bit on the derailer pivots but what else should I be doing?0

Nice thick oil on the mechs and Fenwicks General conditions chain oil on chain and cables works very well for me0

Grease on bearings and perhaps a drop of lube on brake lever pivots too0
