Hi all, I am wanting to purchase a whole castelli kit for spring along the lines of mitts, headband, oversocks, short sleeve jersey and a pair of bib tights.
I really like the castelli free aero team bibshorts

Does anybody know a good place to buy these from at a good price, maybe a site that i am yet to find, also I want a pair of the castelli sorpassos, if any one can give advice on the best place to purchase these from.
Many Thanks
Chris

  • Sigma sport seems to have a good range of stuff.

    Worth a look
Wilier Cento Uno SR 2013 in Fluro Yellow
    Cannondale Caad10 2014 in BLACK!!
  • The Castellicafe website is the most expensive place to buy, it seems to me?
Everything is full list price
Even Evans are doing 10% off those shorts (£121).
The cheapest I have seen them recently was £108 from, I think, Probike kit with a discount code.

    Google is your friend :)

ETA I bought my Aero shorts from Evans and had them delivered to my local store. Convenient as you can try them on and if they don't fit then leave them at the shop and they will get another size in.

Probike Kit (PBK) is a good place to look. They often have heavily discounted Castelli stuff, which gets even cheaper with discount codes. I bought a superb Castelli short sleeve jersey from PBK last year for £35 - half price.

All4cycling .com and some of the German websites do some good deals, they often have daily specials deals.

just be sure to click on the correct currency.

Ribble are pretty good and have an extra 10% off everything using the checkout code at the mo.

Italian outlets are best for Castelli - UK prices are pure profiteering unless its in the sale. All1sport.com are cheap and reliable - clunky website though.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Here's another Italian interweb shop running Amiga 500: http://www.lordgunbicycles.com/shop/index.php

I'm afraid there's no one-stop shop for Castelli deals in my opinion, as much stalking is required on various Ebays (co.uk, .it, .de etc) and search engines. Try limiting your Google searches by geographical area. UK sellers can have good deals too, just picked up a Sottile jacket for 35 quid.
  • Cheers for all the sites peeps, will keep browsing till I find them at a decent price, seems to be rather pricey kit from all over the place, but some bargains have to pop up some time ;)
Cycloslallomeur, what do you think of that jacket as it is the one I am also wanting to get to complete the kit!?
    Cheers

Wiggle sales are always half decent for Castelli stuff, picked up a few bargains on my Castelli kit from them; 25% off Nanoflex padded 3/4 bibs was a steal!

Why don't you support your LBS that stocks them? Price isn't everything you know...
  • Lol, what has my lbs done for me?

If their prices aren't competitive or their service something special then why support them?

    Back to reality...

Got good deal on garmin castelli body paint bibs, sadly can't wear them for my 31 mile TT:-(

That I agree with, unfortunately you obviously don't have the backing of a good LBS in your area

    ...proceed :)
