Hi all,

Looking for some help. Got a VDO A8 (wired) for Christmas and just haven't got round to fitting it to the bike... Things is I can't work out for the life of me how far to place it up a spoke from the hub. Can anyone help at all!?

Thanks

Shouldn't make any difference how far up or down the spokes you place it,
your speed is calculated from wheel revolutions and 1 revolution is the same if its measured from the hub or the rim. Just make sure your wheel size is set up properly on the speedo.

Really!? Does it not take in to account the speed at which the sensors pass one another?

And how would it do that with only one point of reference? As already said it makes no difference all it id doing is counting the wheel revolutions
