Bike rack rental

Hi - Anyone know of anywhere I can hire a bike rack to take one bike for upcoming hols in UK. I either need somewhere that rents these where I can pick it up in the North East of England (near Darlington or Middlesbrough) or somewhere that will rent me on and deliver to me near Darlington. Not having any joy finding either online.

PS- Just can't justify buying one as goodness knows if/when I would ever use it again!

    I'd look at ebay - buy a cheap used one then sell it afterwards. It can often be cheaper to do that than rent anyway. I once did that with a cement mixer when I had a lot of work to do that needed one. Worked out a LOT cheaper than hiring, and I did not have any return deadlines to worry about.

    Also unless you need something in particular due to weird car fittings (My MG ZT-T doesn't have tailgate mounts approved sort of thing), you can get then from about £20
