Trek 7.1 fx or Specialized Sirrus

Buying a new bike and it's down to these two - a 2012 Trek 7.1 fx at £300 or a Specialized Sirrus 2013 at £385. I'm going to test ride them both this week. As of now, the Sirrus edges it based on reviews and looks. I'd be using it for on road commute to work (approx 15mile round trip) and ocassional weekend rides (20-30 miles). Is it worth stumping the extra £90 for the Sirrus?
Ideally I'm looking for something that is light and fairly quick, and does well on hills.

    As you can test ride get the one you prefer. Have a good time out on each, not just 5 minutes.
