Firstly I apologise for the image used here, you may want to turn down the contrast/saturation on your monitor for extended viewing. This image is from the ugliest bike thread.

This Cube looks like it has a larger than normal crown offset, i.e. just like the Trek/Gary Fisher G2 geometry.

Has the idea now gone open market and anyone can do it? I have a Trek Cobia 29er and believe the G2 does really make a difference, no need for a steep head angle etc.

Seems Cube are calling their version of increasing fork offset "Agile Ride Geometry"

it is a 29er so the requirements are different to a 26er.

the trail needs to be right.

still dont really know what you are asking it is I would expect.

but without comparative numbers who can say.

At the moment I am going by the look of the bike. The fork offset looks larger than a normal 29er and more like a Trek/Gary Fisher bike with their G2 geometry. The G2 geometry uses a 51mm offset on 29ers. Seems 'normal' 29ers have around a 45mm offset, varying slightly fork manufacturer to manufacturer. Cube's talk of increasing fork offset on their website suggests that they're doing the same as Trek/Gary Fisher.

This is good because it means it may become much easier to upgrade the fork on your Trek bike with G2

    Old news it seems!

"The handling is tuned in a way that CUBE claims to be mimicking their 26” bikes and is called “Agile Ride Geometry” – something that worked out really nicely in the before mentioned hard tails. But would it remain true for the full suspension as well? For those in need of refreshing – Cube is utilizing a 51 mm offset in all their 29″er forks. Due to our info the formerly protected design is now open to purchase on the OE market and thus is employed on the CUBE bikes."
