Giant ride sense

Just bought a lovely giant from the classified section but I'm unsure how to sinc the ride sense unit with my garmin edge 705 any help would be appreciated

Have you still got the manual, if so it tells you how to sync on page 58. (I think)
To pair accessories:
1. Move away (10 m) from other sensors while the Edge is trying to pair with your sensor for the first time. Bring your sensor within range (3 m) of the Edge.
2. Press menu > select Settings > ANT+Sport.
3. For each accessory you have, select Yes > Restart Scan.

Did it work? I got it to work with my old GSC 10, but not with the giant ride sense
