RST Launch forks?

Hi, I bought a GT Chucker today and im already starting to build a shopping list. Ive seen pretty much all pictures of chuckers using RST Launch forks. They are pretty cheap, so i dont know if they are any good. I am a total suspension noob because ive been running solid forks and have never used a suspension fork. Judging that they come standard on GT Chuckers i would say it should be alright? but then again i know nothing. My Chucker is a XS1 Chucker by the way. Dont know if that makes a difference or not. Also is an Aluminium frame.
Are they any good?
Are they worth the price?
Is there anything better for roughly the same price?
Thanks in advance

Budget jump forks. Heavy. If you are not jumping, get rid of them.0

I dont have them, i was just looking to get to them.
I will be jumping with them, so do you think i should go ahead and get them?0 -

If you are jumping they aren't bad as they are tough enough, they are heavy though!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

Thanks,
Cool, looks like ill get them then. I could always get something lighter later on i guess depends if i find them too heavy or not.0 -
£50? For that money you can pick up some far better forks0

Cool, what would you recommend? Im going to be doing some fairly light jumping, so what would be best?
