Grease brake nuts?

Hi all,
I will be fitting new brakes at the weekend and wondered if I should grease the brake nuts during the assembly process. In particular I am talking about the interface between the frame/nut and fork/nut. The fork is carbo, so I guess I maybe shouldn't be using grease there but some other stuff?
many thanks in advance!

I'd just put a smear of grease on the bolt threads before fitting to make them easier to undo when the need arises. You don't want anything on the outside where it meets the frame / fork material.0

great, thanks! none of technical docs from shimano nor the cloned docs from tektro say anything.
