This can only be a good thing right?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-21875593 basically for those not able to look up the link are taking the design of refuse trucks to give maximum views to the drivers to the front & side of the cab.

Admit it does need some work but its a step in the right direction.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

    I would have thought it cheaper to fit sensors and cameras? Not sure where the engine is meant to go on that new design?

    Of course it would help if cyclists didn't undertake them too.

    you are right it's never to hear of a cyclist injured/killed when they have perhaps not stuck within what most would consider safe.

    Did see something a while ago concerning side mirrors & camera's to try and aid truck drivers in seeing other road users better.

    As for the engine I assume it fits OK in refuse trucks? Though I am no expert in motor vehicles.
