My new bike! After months of research I went with my heart rather than my head! There were better spec bikes out there for the price but none that looked as stunning IMO.

You really are a class A cunt.
  • Nice bike Richard....dont worry about sad detractors on here....Wilers are gorgeous to look at, comfortable to ride, and wherever in the world the sum of their parts may come from these days, they have a great Italian heritage some brands can only dream of....

As an earlier poster said, Welcome to Club Wilier.....its in your blood now.... :D

I hope you're enjoying your Wilier. I've rode different versions of the Izoard over the years. Never moved on to another brand; stuck with it since the first time I had my first one around 2007. Comfortable to ride on and very quick. So congrats on your choice.

This one's my present Izoard XP 2013. I've changed the stock wheels to FFWD F6R clinchers. Adds on to the blink.

Best decision. If we all bought bikes that were purely functional with no soul or panache we would all own Treks and Giants. How boring would that be? Italian styling will always have that bit over the rest for pure desirability.

Better to buy a bike that looks good - you can upgrade it later! You can't upgrade the looks of a bad-looking bike...
