CRC bike bag frame

I came across this article and thought I'd share it here for those that use the CRC or other soft type bike bags and want to give it more structure. It may inspire other solutions too.

That is pretty cool. I've got the wiggle equivalent bag and suffered bent rotors and a dinged frame on a trip to Scotland. I had been thinking about how to do something like this. I think I would add a few more vertical members with struts across to help prevent crushing a bit more.

Alternatively get a bike box from the LBS and slice and dice it so it fits into the bag...
