Anyone any idea to what value I should be tightening the bolts on different areas of my bikes? There are no fancy materials anywhere other than carbon seat post on my trek. All other bikes are aluminium
Thanks in advance

Many components are marked with a torque value. Be aware that this is a maximum value and sufficient clamping force will be achieved before this. It is claimed that the use of carbon fibre assembly paste can reduce the required torque by 30%.
Groupset manufacturers publish torque values on their servive instructions. Shimano data can be found at http://techdocs.shimano.com0 -
Thanks for that. Should have checked first0

(If your components aren't Shimano, stick to the lower end of the torque values...0
