Will all 9spd Sora levers work on triples?

I may have to replace one of my Sora levers and have found a few on EBay. Not sure though if they will all work on triple chain sets or just compacts/doubles though.
The type I'm on about have the thumb shifting button and were replaced by Shimano last year with the new style Sora. They're fitted on my 2010 Spesh Secteur.
