    Now I think of it, it was probably a good thing my Travelodge room smelled of smoke :shock:

    I used to think they should all be shut down, but then all the doggers would go to Premiere Inn :lol:

    I have stayed in lots of nice hotels in london,but to be honest you only want somewhere to lay your head
    after a busy day and an evening out,so go travel lodge covent garden thats what me and the wife done last time.
    Cheaper and really clean with breakfast and they have a bar too.

    Whoever said Guoman has the right idea. Charing Cross, whilst not as fancy as Royal Horse Guards, is still very nice and situated minutes away from Covent Garden. You can't go wrong, and prices are reasonable. Very good hotel.
