He's not my type, if that's what you're getting at. It's a little hard to tell these days, what with your rampant Sky obsession . Now should Mr Stannard take a trip down The Church of Man Love...

There are many riders who are married. I don't think Froome is special enough to have a thread congratulating him on the fact he has proposed.

    Unless I am missing something?

Yes, it's only noteworthy because so many people on here seem to have a beef with his missus

Maybe its more to do with 'who' he is marrying? I don't know though. I might only be guessing.

Surely this is as newsworthy as a German riders legs, he only retired seven years ago.

"Olympic bronze medallist and Tour de France runner-up.."

Fair play to The Western Mail for even bothering to mention the non-Olympic bit.

We don't want her - there's enough mouth burds up the Valleys! If he can train her to keep her mouth shut I can see why he has proposed, he's punching well above his weight in the looks category.

Well now Froome is a Team GB rider he needs to head his head around the extra layer of identity that comes with it. It is not like riding for Team USA/Russia/Aus/France you know.

Anyway, I thought he would make quite a cute team with Geraint and Luke :D

That Welsh newspaper article does not impress me much at all. She isn't f*cking Welsh, she's South African. My daughter was born in Germany, but that doesn't make her a f*cking box head. They need to wise up.

    I'm not happy :(

I'm more than happy for the Saffas to keep her!
