Elixir R brake lever a bit poorly

I took a tumble today and when I recovered my bike the front brake lever was at 90deg to the bars. Not good.
It looks like the piston shaft has sheared and hydraulic fluid is now leaking from the brake.

Can this be stripped down and rebuilt or do I need to buy a new brake?

Rebuild lever and then bleed - kit can be bought easily - try Bikegoo as they have a wide stock of Avid parts. Check that master cylinder piston & spring has not popped out and disappeared in the crash. If is has then you'll need a mc kit as well!

    Thanks.
I have done a bit of Googling and found the rebuild kit - £23 from Amazon.
Ordered and on its way. :)
