Hi all
After a new saddle as the arione wasn't working for me.
Anyone used either or both of these saddles ?
Had an Aliante before which was pretty comfy so was going togo for one until merlin annouced a good deal on the kurve bull.
Is the kurve bull pretty much the same shape as the Aliante ?

Cheers

I had the Bull - expensive mistake!

Its a very rounded shape so i would try the Chemeleon first and would say that you must try one before you part with the cash. I found the cut outs from the carbon support part of the saddle actually quite uncomfortable but that was perhaps due to the shape not fitting me.

I ride an Arione on my winter/commuter and have a carbon braided Aliante on my best bike. The Aliante is by far the most comfortable saddle I've ever owned. it's personal preference of course but I like the feeling of sitting 'in' the saddle rather than 'on' it. I find I'm forever having to adjust my position on the Arione but on the Aliante I enjoy the comfort of being planted in a sweet spot. If you've had an Aliainte before and it was comfy I can't see how you can go wrong.

I quite fancy trying a Antares but the Aliante is very comfortable and if it aint broke....

The Kurve range are all available as demo saddles from a Fizik dealer, so why not take the worry out of a buying mistake and ride one for free for a while? I demo'd a Kurve chameleon first following the Fizik 'flexibility' guide - for what it's worth I think that is a hopeless guide as it does not take sit bone shape into account.

I then tried a Snake - to be honest I knew it was right within the first 5 miles, but put 200 miles into it before it needed to go back. I personally love the Kurve and would recommend you at least give it a try. I appreciate in your situation you might be tempted to risk it if they are on offer at the moment, but you are starting to see the prices drop on these more and more - Leisure lakes were selling them at 50% off before christmas.
