Hi, im looking at buying a second hand epic frame, but never having had a specialized im not sure if they are big or small for their size. I've matched the geometry against a bike I know fits but some things are longer some are shorter. Acording to specialized sizing guide im bang in between a medium and large. I'm 5'11" with a 32.5" in seam. Anyone who rides an epic or any specialized 29er's your help would be much appreciated.

    Hi,

I tested the camber and I am the same size as you. I found them slightly large and I was much much more comfortable on a medium.
I didn't buy one though - I went for a trance 29wr - which also came up big and went for a medium.

I think all 29ers come up slightly bigger than 26" counterparts.

You are in the middle of needing a medium and large and the only safe way is to go and try them out.
  • Thanks for relpys. The auction ended sunday, unfortunately i didn't win it, so im still looking.
