I have got my Canyon Nerve XC7 stripped down for a full service and I am going to replace all the gritty bearings in the back end. However I cant seem to get the chainstay arm off the pivot on the seatpost above the bottom bracket. Taken bolts and spacers out and a circlip from brake side but cant get any further its loose but something is holding it in place. Has anyone removed a Nerve swinging arm and can give me some advice before I get the lump hammer out.

*edit* - never mind, for some reason Canyon don't have the frame schematic for the Nerve like they do the torque.. bummer.0 -

Seen that but its a different swinging arm I think the link is for a 100mm version of the Nerve. When you get the bolts off it looks completely different. Wrote down the bearing numbers and put it back together after filling the bearings with grease. After todays ride in the snow and mud the shocktop bush has died as well dont you just love winter :?Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0 -
Don't know if this helps at all, but it is the Canyon Torque exploded diagram..

Cheers for that I now know what bearing I need but not how to get the little bugger out. Might just flush the main pivot bearing out with spray solvent and regrease with spray grease. It doesnt feel too bad unlike the rocker pivot bearings which are totally shot.Fig rolls: proof that god loves cyclists and that she wants us to do another lap0
