Evening

Got my x1600 dt swiss wheels today, there were 2 center lock adaptor things in the box

The first has been fitted fine using the cassette tool and torqued accordingly

The other lock ring was one of these:

Which on the packet said it was for 15mm, which I don't have. Firstly can this be used with standard q/r ? I have a feeling it can, secondly what tool is needed to do it up?

Thanks

A shimano HT2 bottom bracket tool.

If a normal hub then QR is fine.

    Thanks ss,

I have an slx crank and the correct tool (also has the little star thing attached to do up the plastic bit on non drive side) to fit the bb. I did hold the DT Swiss lockring against the bb but thought it came out marginally smaller, however it wasn't a close or direct fit as the crank arm was in way

so it seems like I have the correct tool then which is great. It is also a standard qr so by all accounts should be simple swap over

    cheers
