Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction?

I am need a work/repairstand that has a Iarge clamp.
I have an old Minoura worrkstand that I use to hold my Meta am by the top tube, but it has large diameter tubes and it is not very secure. [The clamp is not big enough to go all the way around the sides of the top tube]
I 've dropped the bike on my knee once already, I can't clamp at the reverb as not enough is exposed out of the frame.
I don't like the idea of clamping the moving part of the reverb.

So does anyone with a bike/frame that has oversized tubing recommend a particular work/repair stand?

Cheers

CiF

The park ones have big clamps, and big prices. Can you not raise the Reverb high enough to clamp the main tube?

No you're right I could do that but it is more faff than I want to do especially with bolt seat [post] collar and having to pull cable through to allow movement.
Of course I did look at the park ones but the prices scared me off! :o

Looks like I'll take a stab at modifying Minoura

if you drop the seat before you raise the post, the cable is out of the picture, just got the collar to organise then.
