Fred: parking at start venue the night before

Does anyone know what the parking arrangements are like at the Fred, specifically I want to park up and sleep in the van in the start venue parking rather than drive down very early on the start morning?

    Don't know about actually parking in the event car park but have seen lots people park and sleep on the lane leading to the event HQ's or the road into the town centre which is 2mins away from the HQ's.
