Easton EA90XC HUb Query

Is it something I am doing wrong?
My EA90xc hub seems to loosen itself off over the course of a ride. There is a tensioner, that you can tighten with a cone spanner to take any play out. I always start the ride with it nice and tight.
By the time I have hit a couple of trails, there is side to side play (only minimal, but it's there) between the wheel and the frame. The QR is tight.
Secondly, I took the wheel off to investigate the other day and found the freehub and started to undo itself. I could pull it about half a centimetre back and forth. Took it off, fully cleaned, greased and but it back. I'll keep an eye ojn it...but never come across this before?
PLease don't just say that Easton hubs are gash. Which, I am learning...may be the case.

You've seen the thing about Easton offering free, improved hubs to owners, right? It's on the front-page somewhere.0

So i looked at that....
Unfortunately I have the M220 hubs...which you cannot upgrade as per the Easton upgrade.
I guess I will write to where I bought them and ask for a course of action. They are less than a year old. Not ridden that much or that hard, and the constant play irks me a little.0
