Today I saw someone wearing army combat trousers (DPM) and a hi-viz yellow coat. What's the message?

A friend of mine has a Gore jacket in camo with reflective panels. Like this one:

    Does seem somewhat contradictory.

    [pedant]
A friend of mine has a Gore jacket in DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material)......
    [/pedant]

I quite like the jacket, but I don't think that it will go with my DPM messenger bag or shorts!
  • I've got some cami knickers. You wouldn't see me coming in those

Define DPM. Being pedantic back at you, I wasn't incorrect, just not specific. :P :wink:

Saw the bloke in camberwell last night who had a full face helmet completely covered in flashing red lights last night.
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?

Are you sure it wasn't bursting acne?
  • What's the message?

That you can get brand new full Goretex trousers for £15?

I wouldn't go camo though - I got some brand new dark blue RAF surplus Goretex trousers with boot zips and elasticated waist that I use for cycling - £15 off the 'bay.

  • Saw a bloke in a bananaman outfit today (as in yes, the full costume). Seen him before on stupidly cold days, perhaps he just doesn't own any other warm kit.
