I have placed an order on a bike but want to change the handle bars and stem, problem is the stem on the bike is 110mm and the stem I want to put on is 45mm will this be a problem in ha sling or anything, thanks

Why do you want to change that short? Have you tried one? it is a big jump.0

Well the bike I have ordered is a spech camber comp carbon and it looks a bit dull just in black and you might think I'm mad but I like the colour and look of the nukeproof high riser handle bars so was gonna put them on with the nukeproof yellow seat post0

Stem length is part of cockpit length, that determines riding position, screwing that up for a bit of colour is just daft, you can get coloured stems of a normal length if you must, but then I never see black as being wrong!Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
