Hello,
Looking to get into cross country and a bit of trail riding also a comute to work
I have to have a bike from evans cycles due to the ride 2 work deal.
I have been to my local evans (cardiff) I tried the Fuji nevada 1.5 2013 and liked it.
http://www.evanscycles.com/products/fuj ... e-ec041866
As I am new to this and can't find any reviews was wondering if anyone could give me a reason not to buy this bike and if so a similar priced alternative from evan's.
Thanks in advance.
Mike

It's reasonable - if it fits ok then is worth a punt. There are better machines from Halfords and Decathlon for the same money though.0

Thanks for your reply have to goto Evans though.
Anything you could recomend from there for the same money?

Improved fork and higher quality 30 speed groupset.0

Thanks but as a total novice and I would be looking to change my bike after 18 months /2 years do you think I would notice the difference?
Staying undr the £500 makes it a lot cheaper to change the bike sooner with the ride to work scheme.
Not tide to the Fuji brand by the way just Evans.
Find it strange how there are so few reviews of the bike though.
Cheers

The XCM fork is crap, to put it another way ;-)
There are no other shops available to you at all?0 -
No have to go to Evans. Y ? Are they bad to deal with? Is the bike really that bad won't bother and try to save for something decent from some where else.

It's not that bad, just that been stuck with Evans is limiting.0

The saving on cycle to work, once you factor in the final payment, isn't that big, you could get a better bike for less total outlay from Halfords or Decathlon.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
