conti rubber queen vs mountain king

Hi all.

I currently run mountain king 2.2 on front and rear (standard wire bead), and have the opportunity for some rubber queens at a cheap price (again std wire bead), 2.4 front and 2.2 rear.

Just wondered what benefits the fuller volume will give me on a hardtail?

Hi would i check frame clearance first, conti rubbers queens are big, even the 2.2. I have used them and really liked them but they were the folding blach chilli versions.
