Can anyone identify this Scott bike?

Hi all,
My friend has a Scott bike that he got second hand and we are trying to identify the model and it doesn't say it on the bike. It has 26" wheels and they thought it was a Scale RC but the colours are wrong to any model I can find on Evans, etc (note the yellow "Scott" writing).
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve

Definitely a Scale of some sort, colourway looks like the carbon 15 of a few years back. What is the full spec?0

What's the frame number?
It's probably a pre '08 (based on the german catalogues) certainly pre'10 (last year with the old scott logo)0 -
it looks like a 08 scale RC, I had a genius in the same colours.
so it will be a race only version with race geometry and very rare.0 -
Probably a fake. Tons of them about. Scott is a popular Carbon fake Im afraid.A Flock of Birds
+ some other bikes.0 -

Huh? All the production frames are exactly the same, nowt rare about an RC!
It's a 2010 RC, my guess is warranty frame, there's no ISP, but still a Ritchey seatpost, and the bits are inferior to and older than those on the production bike.
Edit: yep, bits are off a 2007 Scale 10 (bottom pic).
