Not a big football fan but the headline of "brave face on 43-0 defeat" I kinda had to look at.

So its basically a goal every 2 minutes give or take, which I seem to recall happening when I was 10 years old or so at school but that does seem like a lot.
I do like the chair's statement that they are on a recruitment drive, good see they are looking for the plus points to such a thrashing.

About 35years ago a team from my town were beaten 49-0 in a Sunday morning game. If I recall correctly apart from being crap anyway (bottom of the lowest league in 20 divisions for four years running) they only had eight men but I think they didn't fall behind for about 15-20mins.Tail end Charlie
