Anyone had any experiences with custom made cycling jerseys? Seems there is a fair amount of chice out there, prices roughly similar.
Currently looking at Owayo, Velotec or Custom Performance Kit. Any feed back on the quality of the various company's offerings very welcome.

What are you wanting them for? and how many?
We got two different jerseys created, one from Fixgear (£32 each) and one from Monton (£35 jersey and bib shorts)
Both are decent enough quality, we were/are extremely pleased with both, especially for the price. The Fixgear (Ventoux-checkerboard) ones are slightly better material and finish to be fair, but the Monton ones were a bargain and are still serving us well.
You can check out site to see them. I designed them on Paint, emailed them and they sharpened it all up before producing them. http://snookcycling.wordpress.com/jersey/http://www.snookcycling.wordpress.com - Reports on Cingles du Mont Ventoux, Alpe D'Huez, Galibier, Izoard, Tourmalet, Paris-Roubaix Sportive & Tour of Flanders Sportive, Amstel Gold Xperience, Vosges, C2C, WOTR routes....0 -

Just noticed this company on eBay - £22 a jersey, UK based!http://www.snookcycling.wordpress.com - Reports on Cingles du Mont Ventoux, Alpe D'Huez, Galibier, Izoard, Tourmalet, Paris-Roubaix Sportive & Tour of Flanders Sportive, Amstel Gold Xperience, Vosges, C2C, WOTR routes....0 -
I have used Velotec and can only speak highly of their service and quality.0

I cannot recomend Endura highly enough, great quality, reasonable price, quick dleivery and best of all, imho, UK made .
Depends how many you want of course, they have a minimum order of 10 or 15 items, but it can be multiple items not all jerseys, e.g. I ordered custom designed kit for our company cycling 'team' (i.e. we ride sportives and occasional charity rides) 4 sets of short sleeve top, bib-shorts, bib tights, long sleeve jacket and gillet, all kit we would have indivually bought but now we have fully matching set a la 'pro-team' when we want to fly the company flag at a charity cycle or such. They have a online designer template on their website with a number of standard templates to choose from that you can then play with colours/wording and logos etc.
No so sure for smaller quantities of ones and two though, may be better with one of the others recomneded abovefay ce que voudres0 -

It is no wonder those jerseys are going so cheap, if you look at them on e-bay you will see that you will soon be sitting on the contents of your rear pockets!!!
They are fine if you don’t carry food, keys, tyres, leavers, pump or multi tool around with you.0 -

This is a higher quality picture from their website, those jerseys have the usual pockets on the back plus a zip pocket? Not really sure of your point.http://www.snookcycling.wordpress.com - Reports on Cingles du Mont Ventoux, Alpe D'Huez, Galibier, Izoard, Tourmalet, Paris-Roubaix Sportive & Tour of Flanders Sportive, Amstel Gold Xperience, Vosges, C2C, WOTR routes....0 -

We used Owayo for our LeJog trip and are re-ordering with them this year. Although, I was not the main contact, from talking to my friend and seeing the communications they seemed really patient and helpful. They also sent samples out for sizing and the quality of the stuff was really good.0

Top price you pay if small quantities though.
Danger UK seem interesting. Anyone got anything to say about them.0 -
HalfBB are close to launching their new custom site.
Have had good dealings with them recently.0 -

I've bought over 1,000 jerseys from Owayo in the past 4 years - fantastic service (3 weeks for delivery this year) and great quality and price.
Beware the Chinese and sub-continent suppliers (many of whom have .co.uk websites and appear to be UK based) ... they're good at the bait and switch - send a sample that bears no relation to the delivered product.

Give www.Milltag.cc a try.
I got some club jerseys done and they're great quality.0 -
Hi just picked this up.
We use Owayo and have found all of the kit to be of a high quality and most importantly very durable. They provide an efficient service where they send samples for you to try in advance of any purchase and the design of custom kit is normally included in the price.
I've ridden many 1000's of km's in all types of conditions over the past 3 summers out here in the Alps and can't fault it. You can see some examples of the kit on our site http://www.colconquerors.com
Cheers

I found Owayo pricey for small quantities, even stock designs just with added logo.
What sort of mins do Vitesse do?0 -
The reorder charges can be quite high for low quantities but if you talk to them or place an order when there running a promotion they are more than reasonable. The thing I've found so far with them is the kit is very good quality for example bib shorts 55.00 euros a pair. I've just re-ordered 3 pairs only and paid an order fee of 30.00 euros making the 65.00 euros a pair. The last set lasted for 3 full seasons out here. Not bad value I feel....0

we just had a delivery of team jerseys from custom performance kit. Its excellent quality and all made in Italy. We had the pro jersey and shorts with top padding and certainly very good value for money!

are they decent minimums ?0
-
we ordered 12 jerseys and 10 shorts. think their min order is 20pcs0
-
Is that even on the straightforward print name on jersey ? or just partial or full custom.
(sorry to ask)0 -
sorry i'm not sure on this one.0

Our last batch of club kit came from Vitesse. The new set won't. The jerseys were fine. Some of the gilets had a strange cut. The shorts had a good-quality pad but feeble stitching and the black has faded like no other kit I've tried.0 -
Pedalling Squares had a link to http://www.pactimo.com/ on their facebook today, they do custom jerseys.
I saw one clubs Vitesse jerseys and shorts, and some of the shorts had the clubs name printed upside down (actually wondered if this was on purpose, as it was so obviously wrong, or if Vitesse had made a massive mistake and sold them to the club at a vastly discounted rate)http://www.snookcycling.wordpress.com - Reports on Cingles du Mont Ventoux, Alpe D'Huez, Galibier, Izoard, Tourmalet, Paris-Roubaix Sportive & Tour of Flanders Sportive, Amstel Gold Xperience, Vosges, C2C, WOTR routes....0 -

How much cheaper than £18 for a customised jersey do you want to pay?http://www.snookcycling.wordpress.com - Reports on Cingles du Mont Ventoux, Alpe D'Huez, Galibier, Izoard, Tourmalet, Paris-Roubaix Sportive & Tour of Flanders Sportive, Amstel Gold Xperience, Vosges, C2C, WOTR routes....0 -
