As per the title - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-21736724

Now I have to say my shaking my head @ people cutting me up & waving at those who pass to close or pull out in front of me pale into insignificance when compared with this sort of thing.

Basically car hits cyclist, cyclist arm gets ripped off and falls into car, driver speeds off & then dumps the arm in a stream.
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.

    He should pay road tax.

Seriously? Drunk driver has accident, panics, media firestorm ensues. Life goes on. It's hardly representative of normal day to day collisions.

I never said it was representative of normal day to day collisions.

I said that compared to most every day issues that we face & am sure that you and I have both either been involved in or commented on in BR threads in certainly pale into insignificance when you read a story like this.
