Radial lacing hope pro 3's???

I quite fancy my next set of wheels built on some hope pro 3 hubs as I like the colour range and love the racket they make, as well as them being good quality.
Problem is everywhere I look says you can't radially lace these hubs and I had planned on my front wheel being radially laced. Also, lots of wheelbuilders only seem to have 28 to 36 hole options available.
Now this info all seems to fly in the face of what hope actually advertises on their website,

So whats going on? Has anyone built a wheelset up on them at say 20/24 spokes with the front radially laced? Hope seems to specify that it is possible, yet no wheelbuilders I see say the same.

Says here that all hubs can be laced radially but it does increase the risk of the flanges breaking. http://www.cyclingtips.com.au/2011/11/t ... lbuilding/0

20 and 24 CAREFULLY laced radially is possible, 28 to 36 is better not, too much force acting on the flange.
There is a guy here who had a set of carbon rims laced 20/24 on Hope hubs...left the forum March 20230
