i'm sure it's a nice bike, but putting a catalogue pic of the bike up really defeats the reason for this thread :|

I didn't have a good pic of it that was recent. I am getting one tomorrow when I can take a picture in the daylight :)

Nice bike, but I hope that's not where it lives full time. You might find that it's wandered off one day...

lol nope thats the bike racks outside work. It's right under a security camera and there is a lot of staff traffic past it so it's under watchful eyes. Plus we are out of town so less of a target. :)

All new parts added today and OMFG I love my new fork lol I will give it a good thrashing tomorrow on the new blue trail at Swinley :)

Took the bike round Swinley's blue and red trails (the ones that are open) last night in the snow. Fantastic sensation. It was like it was a brand new bike. The fork was amazing and we were hammering everything hard and fast which I'd never be able to do with the old fork.

Just need to change the rear mech now for something with more tension to get rid of chain slap on the downhill parts of the red

Lookin' good! Should've kept the old pic up too though, for comparison.

Arn't those tyres on the wrong way round?

If they are the "ROTATION ---->" notification on the tyres is wrong lol

Quick Note - The wider handle bars have helped do away with the problem I was having with my hands. My hands are in a more natural and comfortable position now. Although I did still get a numb as buggery right hand on one section of Swinley's Blue Trail. It's the longest part and hard on the hands. I had to shake my hand out to regain feeling but otherwise normally, all great :)

Love this, I have a 26" analog and was thinking of similar upgrades, wide bars, short stem, forks, etc how does the bike handle with them? The frames are gorgeous and I think are definitely worth upgrading...

  • The bottom bracket shell failed (parts broke off) so Cube replaced the frame under warranty for a 2013 frame (pic below). Basically the same frame but with no direct mount point for the front mech (hence the Tourney mech as that was all the LBS had in at the time.)
