I've booked a holiday in SW France and plan drive to the Pyrenees to do a one day ride in the Pyrenees (Col d'Aspin, Tourmalet & Aubsique). However, this means a one way 80 mile ride and I'm struggling to work a way to get me and my bike back to the car. Does anyone have any experience how they have overcome this issue?

I'm no great help, but there are plenty of great climbs that you could park the car and do a nice loop back to the car.
  • If you only have 1 day forget Col d'Aspin. Park the car in Argeles-Gazost and ride Col d'Aubisque, return to Argeles-Gazost and then do Col du Tourmalet and return to your car. That should be about 130km (80) miles) with over 3000m of climbing. If that's not enough you could add on any of the climbs in the valley, Hautacam or Luz Ardiden for example.
