Fork twist

I have a Cube Analog 29er with an XCM fork. I find with the fork at full extension and the lockout on I get a twisting sensation from the fork. Should I have the fork at its sag position when locked out or would a better fork get rid of the problem ?

I have it at full extension when lockedout to give more lift at the front when commuting on roads and alleviating the pressure on my hands

it's a basic, flexy fork, a better unit would help.
