Cycling films - for a flight

Got a long flight with people I don't really want to speak to.
Want a long cycling film / documentary to watch on my kindle fire.
Any ideas? I've probably seen half of the ones you'll recommend, but not the other half.

It received mixed reviews in IsIwyn's thread (I haven't watched it yet, so cannot comment), but maybe give it a go.Ben

Don't bother. I made it to 20 mins then died of boredom.
Basically a load of crappy footage that's only suitable for a 3min promo mashed together into an hour of dull pretentiousness.0 -

Excellent! I'm an hour in so far. Brilliantly poetic narrative and a great insight to racing in that era. Great TT footage, the bikes being so much more elegant with low pro rims and slender steel frames. Also you can see a lot of sky's tactics in the way that Eddie kept the pace high to take the sting out the pure climbers.
Thoroughly good stuff, thanks for the link.0 -

I thought Sky and US Postal invented boring racing and that every race won with a 100km solo breakaway in those days?"I have a lovely photo of a Camargue horse but will not post it now" (Frenchfighter - July 2013)0 -
It's like reinventing the wheel! I say that Sky equals Apple, in the sense that they are perceived to be an innovative brand, cutting edge - which really is only down to branding, marketing, packaging and rebatching, in my humble opinion.0

how about a film about the nuttiest/pure genius mind in cycling.

Some of the documentarys from the last 20 years could be quite entertaining, especailly with the benefit of hindsight.
Bjarne doing his softly spoken thing in Overcoming springs to mind. "Come Ivan, you can jump off this cliff in the freezing fjord below, even though you swim like a brick".0
