Good. His denials were increasingly embarrasingRick Chasey wrote:Does he say how, what, when?
But he already says he's not naming any others involved. Says he basically all did it by himself. But he's not the most believable guy in the world at the moment, is he?0 -

The Dutch people on the cyclingnews forum are saying that there is a bad translation and that Boogerd is saying he rode some tours without taking dope during the race rather than saying that he did that for all.0

It's some NOS sports commentator I don't know - less risky I guess0 -

You mean the Holland Sport one? Yeah, that was good. But that was after admission, to talk about the psychology of decisions to dope, that sort of thing. I have the feeling Boogerd still wants to say as little as possible and wishes the media would just go away. I don;t think they need De Jong for that kind of interview, and he wouldn't really be interested either.0 -

I just made the HN article on that my Dutch translation piece for the week and even I was disappointed in the amount of new knowledge in it."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Frenchie, if I started a thread about Joseph Stalin or Augusto Pinochet, would you post a subtly edited shot of them looking dashing and heroic?

I struggle to believe Rolf was only doping in 1990s. He had some pretty good results late 1980s too. Wonder if he will illuminate on the Prof Conconi research notes...that Carrera team all appeared on in 1992-930 -
Rolf's silver medal..1996 Olympic RR...will IOC have it off him? Nothing is time barred now0

I think they made a statement recently to the effect that no more reallocation of medals...0 -
Danish radio show started a campaign a couple of years ago called 'Rolf er ren!' (Rolf is clean!) which became a national joke even for people who knew nothing about cycling. Rolf even admitted yesterday that this ridicule of him had its part in his decision to finally admit. He's a ridiculously good pundit, he can name every rider before the viewers at home watching the races in HD just by their way of riding, often predicts the team's tactics before the races start, obviously knows a lot about the technical stuff of the bikes and has a great story or two about the (now older) riders in the peloton - but the atmosphere always turned awkward when they talked about doping. Hopefully he'll cope a bit better on that part now.

Rolf Sørensen is a proven liar. We don't believe his confession. Rolf was, is and always will be "ren".
