A newly formed Facebook group called 'Lancashire cycle link' has been formed to link up cyclist, clubs and events in and around Lancashire. There are currently over 330 members and 32 clubs registered.
We are currently organising a couple of events. The first is an Inter club meet and greet at Dunsop Bridge Village Hall planned for Sunday 14th April at 1200. This is an informal get together and chance to meet some new faces from this group, and for old friends to catch up again. Up to the individual clubs on how you organise yourselves. Arrange a ride out to include a stop here, or drive and ride from here. Postcode is BB7 3BG
The main event is the 'Share the Road' ride, planned for Sunday 23rd June. This is an organised ride starting and finishing at UCLAN Preston, with 3 routes planned out to Dunsop Bridge Village Hall and returning. We have chosen to support the North West Air Ambulance charity.
