Avid single digit 7 V brake service

Hi, recently I notices that the rear brake lever on my MTB bike doesn't rebound properly after being used. Today I inspected the brake and discovered that one of the arms is almost completely stuck and barely moves. I took it of for cleaning but have no clue how to get the spring out of the arm so I could remove the rust and re-grease. On cheapo V brakes it's enough to pry of the spring holder assembly with a flat head screw driver but on the avids there is no way to do that. Everything is really tight and I'm not even sure if they can be serviced at all. Does anyone know how to get the spring out of the arm in those brakes (Avid single digit 7 V barkes)?? For the moment it looks that I paid over 20 pounds for a calliper that has very nice anodized exterior but all the crucial elements inside are not stainless and rust very quickly.

the arm should just pull off the spring assy.
sounds like they are well gunked up."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

If you can't get the spring out try spraying a load of degreaser through a straw directly into it. The force of the spray should push any gunk out and may well remove any surface layer rust. If that works, regrease and reinstall.0
