upgrading rear mech/shifters?

Ok, I'm currently running the standard 3x9 setup, shimanao xt shadow rear mech, xt front mech, and deore shifters.
I made an attempt at looking for some 9spd xtr shifters and rear mech. I found a few 9spd ones but all were discontinued, or found the standard 2x10 versions.
I really don't wanna go the whole 2x10 route as that will probably cost a lot more.
What are viable options for part upgrading to xtr? anything similar that'd work?

I'd look for some XT 9 speed shifters and leave it at that. they work nearly as well as XTR, are a fair bit better than Deore. The mechs will make little difference, if any (apart from weight).0

Yea the XTR is mainly just weight loss over the XT and cost a hell of a lot more for it. I run a full XT drivetrain and the shifters are fantastic. They are certainly different to the Deore ones and it took me a few ride to get used to them. Unlike the Deore, the XT has instant engage with shifting as you push the thumb lever, meaning that if you push all the way you will get a few changes at once. You can change 3 even 4 gears down in one motion which is what i like about them. So if you hit a sudden incline you won't be caught clicking through gears one/two at a time and losing momentum.0
