Ok. I ride 3 times a week 2 x high Intensity rides covering just over 20miles. One on tuesday and one on Thursady or friday and a 30 + mile ride at a slightly lower Intensity on a sunday. I was thinking of adding a turbo session In on the monday but wanted it to be for recovery from the long ride but I also want to gain from it too. It cant be to hard as Tuesday night is group ride night so its good to be on form. I have 2 jobs so riding time is as preciouse as rest. Dont want to blow myself out. Just want to improve my riding a bit more. Any other suggestions welcome.

The turbo is far better for high intensity riding than recovery. Sitting and spinning is insanely dull, would suggest swapping other sessions round if possible. Go outside for a gentle recovery ride, get on the turbo for a decent interval session.
