Following on from another thread elsewhere on the forum i cam across these CNP pro flapjacks which i am a bit of a fan of ..they seem to work for me but if you compare the two links below is it a another case of the grat cycling rip off just by adding diffrent packaging and a endorsement from Team Sky and British cycling decide for yourself .

and

http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/s ... g-flapjack

as you can see there quite a big price diffrence .

    Nope, you're not.

I don't think I'd ever go out and buy flapjack. Only takes 30mins to make some and 20mins of that is waiting for it to bake in the oven. Ingredients are very cheap too, you could make double the amount for less than half the price. Drop some mixed chopped nuts in there if you want some protein and a nutty flavour.

To me it looks like one is this years packaging and the other is last years packaging.

Just make your own, they are so cheap & easy to do. Plus you can play around with what you put in them so your always eating exactly what you like.

As for the CNP pricing well what do you expect they were brought in by DB to Sky and then their prices went up but can't see that their products offer any over and above what the other cycling specific manufacturers make.

So clearly a case of stick a Team Sky logo on the packet and charge double !

    Bit of a p**** take really !!

In the summer last year the government added VAT on to sports nutrition products, may be a reason for the hike?

They were over priced before the VAT was applied. But the OP was comparing the same brand from 2 suppliers, one with all the Sky co-branding & another just the CNP on its own so the VAT would apply at the same rate to both retailers.
