Hiya Guys.

I am currently in progress of doing a dissertation for the University of Derby. The study title is .... Mountain biker's risk of injury in relation to their percieved ability. In order to complete this study I need people to fill in a questionnaire.

It won't take long to fill out but would be a great help and very appreciated.

If you are intrested in taking part could you please email me on ..... jessicaball_mbs@yahoo.co.uk
I will then send you the questionnaire and consent form to fill out.

Thanks for your time,
Jess

I'd learn how to spell and punctuate before I undertook a dissertation?

and i would also look at setting up an onlne survey so people can do it anonymously.

I agree, would need to be an anonymous online survey for me (and I would guess 99% of readers).
  • I'm no expert and I know dissertations are meant to be specific but are you actually able to write 10,000 words or whatever your limit is on this topic? Is there enough literature on this topic, are you able to reference well enough and relate to other studies and surveys?

If not, you are being very brave indeed... It can be done, there was someone in my year who managed to pull off one of the best dissertations of the year with little in the way of related studies. However you've gotta be very skilled to manage it.

Ten thousand words is just an essay.

You can use some words more than once, as long as you're careful. Any more and it gets obvious.

I'm restricted to a couple of syllables.

My exceptions are; "restricted", "syllables" and "exceptions".

What ones do you know? I fully expect a list by the way

I'd say that: as long as was a far more blatant example.

But yes, I've just failed my degree. Hey ho.

Yes I am going to set up an online survey as well just trying to get as many in from all angles as possible. Yes there is enough literature out there because you just break it down into sections.
