Just got my Scott Addict R3, upgrading from a FORT Ro SLC.

It is a huge difference in terms of speed and shift quality and having done 150miles since I bought it a week ago, I am dead pleased with the difference it's made. Bought of a fellow club member, and it also meant I could keep up with the 'fast' group on our rides , which was a bit marginal before!

Spec is full Shimano 105 5700, Scott finishing kit, Mavic Aksium Wheels, Vittoria Open Pave Evo GC tyres.

Total weight is 7.6kg.

Hope you guys like it :)

I am to be the only one to commend the man on a rather natty front fork support system :-)

And timber beams in a workshop - nice touch!

Cheers for all the comments guys,

The matt black colour scheme is almost my favorite thing about the bike!

Cheers Smidsy, who knew a hacksaw clamped into a vice, and some bungee cord off the ceiling could make a very stable workstand! Who needs an expensive Park Tool one eh? :P Also means I don't have to clamp the carbon.

Now upgraded with a Fiz:ik Arione, in white of course :)

Some 5700 105 pedals going on in place of the Ultegra R600 Pedals....

Also the saddle has been raised, and the stem is on it's way to being slammed, though making the adjustment slowly so I ease into it a bit. Saddle has gone back too.

Is there two spacers above the stem? I've managed one and like you am easing in to the slammed look !

Yup two spacers above the stem there. I am a reasonably big guy at 6ft 2, so need all the help getting aero as I can get! Luckily I am quite comfortable holding an aggressive position for 3-4hrs....
