Sizing Giro Factors

Quick question on how people came to sizing their Giros? Same as UK or a shade up or under? I'll try to get a pair tried on but there are some great on-line deals if I can get some kind of definitive size idea.

Currently using Sidis and they're a size 8 on me as per my normal size.

I take a UK 10. 44.5 in the Giros give a nice close fit.

I'm a UK 10 normally but Size 46 in Giro :-/
